Simple:Press V4.4.0 Release Candidate 1 Now Available
Yesterday, on Christmas, WordPress finally released their Release Candidate 1 build of the upcoming WP 3.1 version. This new version of WP will require an updated Simple:Press version again for compatibility reasons. As the WP version has now entered Release Candidate, we have also released a Release Candidate 1 version of Simple:Press 4.4.0. This version DOES require WP 3.1.
While 4.4.0 is primarily a compatibility release, there have been some other bug fixes and a few features thrown in. You can follow along on the 4.4.0 development on our bug tracker page.
You can get the 4.4.0 Release Candidate 1 version on our download page.
When the WP 3.1 version goes final, we will also release a final version of Simple:Press 4.4.0.
