After much understandable concern from our users we are pleased to announce that we are now in negotiation with an established WordPress development team and the Simple:Press future is looking much brighter.
Over the next week or two we hope to have the details finalised to the point where we can introduce our users to the new team.
And as the handover is going to take a while to complete, both Steve and I will not be disappearing overnight but will be helping out for a while to aid the transition and make it as painless as we possibly can.
More details, of course, to follow as soon as we are able – along with more news on the next 5.8 update.
The future is looking much brighter!
