There are often times when a user needs to send something private to you - the admin of your forum. You might opt for email. You might opt for our Private Messaging plugin. But there is also the option to grant them permission to make a Private Post.
Private posts are great for help-desks and certain other operations because the agent/admin do note need to flip between screens to view the entire history of a thread or conversation.
You can also post back to them privately if needed.
And the only people who will see them are you, the admin, and the user who started the topic. Simple and effective.
